Victoria Masciopinto

Victoria MasciopintoSeveral summer internships as a court clerk in the Cook County domestic relations division proved to be a life-changing experience for Victoria Masciopinto. That's when she decided to become a lawyer and concentrate exclusively in family law where her passion for justice and helping families could best be put to use.

Today, Victoria is an associate lawyer at Ladden & Allen, Chartered, where she works with the firm's clients in the areas of pre- and post-nuptial agreements, dissolution of marriage, financial settlements, custody and post-decree matters.

After graduating from law school, Victoria worked for a firm that concentrated in family law matters and successfully litigated numerous complex divorce and post-decree cases. She took a sabbatical for seven years to raise her three children and returned to the practice of law in 2010 when she joined the firm of her former mentors, Ron Ladden and Gemma Allen. She is a trained divorce mediator.

On a volunteer basis, she is a trained and active facilitator for Rainbows International, an organization which helps children of all ages better cope with difficult life situations. She also has provided pro bono services at the Family Shelter Service's Advocacy Center in DuPage County.

Victoria has been a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association and Women's Bar Association of Illinois. She sat on the executive membership board of her alma mater, Immaculate Heart of Mary High School, in Westchester, and was a member of the Downers Grove School District 58's financial advisory committee. While a student at The John Marshall Law School, she was a member of the Moot Court Executive Board.

Conversant in Spanish, she received her B.A. in Spanish Business Translation and Communications, with a double minor in political science and history, and studied an academic year abroad at the University of Seville, in Seville, Spain. Victoria resides in a Chicago suburb with her husband and their three teenagers.
