Gemma Allen Named to Commission Post December 6, 2008 CHICAGO – Gemma B. Allen, a partner in the law firm of Ladden & Allen, Chartered, has been appointed to the Chicago Commission on Human Relations and will serve a three-year term on its Advisory Council on Women. The Commission is charged with enforcing the Chicago Human Rights Ordinance and the Chicago Fair Housing Ordinance. Allen, who has practiced family law for most of her professional career, has repeatedly has been selected by her peers as a Super Lawyer and a member of the Leading Lawyers Network®, and was also named by Crain's Chicago Business as one of the city's "100 Most Influential Women."
