Jessica Malmquist Joins Ladden & Allen November, 2008 Jessica L. Malmquist, of Chicago's Lincoln Park, has joined the Chicago law firm of Ladden & Allen, Chartered, as an associate attorney. Ladden & Allen, Chartered, is a family law firm offering professional, caring and accessible representation in the areas of marriage, divorce, financial settlements, mediation and custody-related matters. Malmquist spent the last five years in Scotland where she obtained her LLM in Commercial Law at the University of Edinburgh in 2004 and her Masters of Philosophy in International Economics and Finance at the University of Glasgow in 2006. During her years in Scotland, she also worked for the investment management firm of Martin Currie and in the fund management department of J.P. Morgan. Malmquist was a summer associate at a Cleveland, Ohio law firm specializing in commercial bankruptcy and creditors rights. She is involved in the American Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association and Pets Are Worth Saving (PAWS). In 1998 she received her bachelor's degree from Beloit College in Beloit, Wis., where she majored in economics and management, and psychology.
