Illinois State Bar Association past President Robert K. Downs, a partner in Downs & Downs, P.C., and Cook County Circuit Court Judge Jeanne Bernstein (at left) were among two dozen participants in a February 16 Think Tank hosted by the family law firm of Ladden & Allen, Chartered, at the Ritz-Carlton Chicago. Gemma B. Allen and Ronald S. Ladden (at right) conducted the two-hour discussion, which focused on intimate terrorism, a newly-recognized form of domestic violence, as well as the development of an industry Resource Directory. To be maintained by Ladden & Allen, the Resource Directory will contain information about court-related professionals and service providers in the areas of diagnostic, forensic and therapeutic mental health services for families.
